TCS CodeVita 2020, Eligibility Criteria, Registration Process, Exam Pattern


TCS CodeVita is a global coding contest. Last date of registration is 05 July 2020, by 18:30.

Registration  Close: 05 July 2020, 18:30 UTC

CodeVita Eligibility Criteria

  • Perusing graduation/ postgraduate programs in India and related to engineering/science background with any specialization are eligible for this contest.
  • Eligible Batch: 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 pass out students are eligible.
Registration Process

Step 1:

Step 2: 
If you are already registered on campus commune/TCS NextStep portal. Directly register for the CodeVita by entering your login id and password.

If you don’t have account on campus commune/TCS NextStep portal, you will have to sign-up on campus commune and NextStep portal and then proceed to register for CodeVita.

After registration each registered participant will be receiving a unique secret code or link at a later stage to take part in the contest.

Step 3:
Click on Register option again.

Step 4:

Now you have successfully register for TCS CodeVita Season 9 and you will see the updated page.


Exam Pattern

1) Pre Qualifier Zonal Round

  • Strat from: 8th Aug, 2020, 09:30 UTC  
  • End on: 16th Aug, 2020, 09:30 UTC
  • Mode: Online Mode
  • Total Duration: 6 hours
  • Programming languages available are: C, C++, C#, Java, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby

In2) The Qualifier Round

  • Strat from: 7 Nov 2020, 09:30 UTC  
  • End on: 8 Nov 2020, 09:30 UTC
  • Mode: Online Mode
  • Top performers from the zonal rounds globally (The Pre- Qualifier Round) will move into second round. 
  • Total Duration: 6 hours

3) Grand Finale
  • Strat from: 17 Feb 2021, 03:30 UTC  
  • End on: 17 Feb 2021, 12:30 UTC
  • Place: At the Venue
  • Grand Finale will be held in one of the TCSL offices in India. 
  • Top 3 performers will be declared as winners of the contest.

  • Basic programs like prime factorization, LCM & HCF 
  • Fibonacci series, matrix rotation, pattern printing, and strings
  • Advanced problems on Binary Search Tree, Sorting, DFS, BFS
  • Pproblems on dynamic programming etc.
