Ingenious 2020

Ingenious is the annual b-school competition conducted by Infosys in India.

Objective:

To discover the most innovative management students in the country who are bound to become the leaders of tomorrow.
It is a team-based case study competition, there will be three round in this competition.

Eligibility: Management students in the final year can register for the competition.

Last date of Registrations is 26 July 2020.

Team Size: Three members.

Details about Competition:

Ingenious 2020 will consist of three rounds to be conducted from July to October 2020.

Each participating team will have to choose a case study from the list of options available that will remain unchanged for the entire duration of the competition.

Round 1 – One page case study solution

Each team will submit a one page case study solution in the predefine format shared by infosys
From Round-1 top 200 teams from partner business schools and top 20 teams from Wild Card category will move to the next round.

Round 2 – Video Solution and virtual face-off with five members jury

This round is divided into two parts.

For part one, the selected 220 teams will submit a 5 minutes video presentation of the solution.
From Round-2 top 50 teams from partner business schools and top 6 teams from wild card entry category will move to the next part of the round.

Final round – Mentorship and business plan presentation

Top six teams will be mentored by an assigned mentor to prepare a detailed solution for their case study.
In the grand finale, each team will present a business plan to a new jury.
Top two teams with the highest score will be declared winners of the competition.

Terms and Conditions

Each Team will participate through a single team account for the Event.
Participation in the competition is free
Participant is a final year student of partner business schools/universities to whom this challenge is open or a wild card entry.
If participant doesn’t belong from partner business schools/university, he/she can register in wild card category.
Each Participant must register for the competition, by filling the registration form on ingenious.epoch.onwingspan.com.
Please note that Incomplete or false information will not be accepted and your team will be disqualified from the event.
After registration each team can pick one case study of their choice from a pool of case studies provided by Infosys.

Selection Process:

The Event will be conducted in three rounds:

Round 1 (27 July to 4 Aug 2020) Each team will submit one-page case study solution based on the case study selected by the team.
From Round-1 top 200 teams from partner business schools and top 20 teams from Wild Card category will move to the next round.
Round 2 (24 August to 4 September 2020) has two parts:
In part one, the selected 220 teams will submit, a five-minutes video presentation of the solution.
From Round-2 top 50 teams from partner business schools and top 6 teams from wild card entry category will move to the next part of the round.
In part two, the selected 56 teams will undergo a Q&A session with a jury of Infosys leader role-playing as clients.
Top five teams from partner business school and top team from the Wild Card category will move to the final round.
Round 3 (Final round) (21 September to mid October, 2020) is the finale where top six teams will present their final case study solution to the jury.
Top two teams with the highest score would be declared as winners of the competition.
