 CBSE Merit Scholarship for Single Girl Child (Class X - 2020)

Eligibility Criteria

• Single Girl should secured minimum 60% or more marks in CBSE Class 10^th Examination
• Tuition fee should not more than Rs. 1,500/- p.m. during the academic year
• Scholarship is grant for students Class XI & XII (affiliated with CBSE Board School)
• The student must continue her school studies in Class XI and XII in school
• Total enhancement in tuition fee should not be more than10% of the tuition fee charged (In the next two years)
• Only Indian nationals students is eligible for scholarship
• Student(Girl) should be ONLY CHILD of their parents

Selection Procedure

• Student should have passed Class 10^th Examination from the CBSE
• Secured 60% or more marks in class 10^th
• Pursuing Class XI & XII from CBSE affiliated Schools
• Student (Girl) should be ONLY CHILD of their parents

Scholarship Amount and mode of payment

• Scholarship Amount Rs. 500 per month.
• Scholarship Duration: maximum period of two years.
• Scholarship Payment will be made through ECS/NEFT.

What are the reasons of rejection of application?

Application not in proper format and non-enclosure of relevant documents at the time of submission application form.

 

Definition of SGC (Single Girl Child): means a girl who is the only child of their parents and there is no brother or sisters.

 

I am single Girl in the family. I have one brother. Can I apply for scholarship under Single Girl Child Scheme?

No, you can’t apply

 

Whether i will require to apply for renewal of scholarship again?

Yes, you have to apply for renewal separately. 

Note: For Renewal Student should have passed Class 11^th Examination from the CBSE, secures 50% or more marks in aggregate in the examination which determines her promotion to next class. you have to apply for renewal separately.

Important dates

Last date for submission of online applications: 10/12/2020

For renewal hard copy of application form has to be submitted on or before 28/12/2020, Hard copies received after the last date will not be accepted.
